Description of Capstone Project
My capstone project will be a presentation of the fourth year garment designs and the associated creative outputs along with the collection of garments. The reason I choose the exhibition format is because I feel that often times fashion designers present their work in a showroom/booth format rather than on the runway. To maximize the impact of the products, medias such as video presentation, print materials, and on site installation are utilized to convey a coherent design message. In my exhibition project, I plan to have print materials that contain an editorial style look-book, a product catalog, as well as a short editorial video to present alongside with my garments.
