About the Collection
Modern Murdoch is a costume collection that pushes the boundaries of the time period. It is a collection that stands between shows like Murdoch Mysteries and Reign. It takes some of the historical accuracy that Alex Reda, designer for Murdoch Mysteries, tries to accomplish and pushes it towards a more modern appeal, similar to the work of Jane Flanders and her work on Reign. It brings the overall feel of the time period, while pulling the most desirable aesthetics and placing them in ways that are not completely time period accurate to bring the most audience appeal possible.
