About the Collection
The Art of Slow’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection is comprised of five sophisticated and flattering outfits. The first outfit has a ¾ length sleeve jersey turtleneck and a felt dress with a separating zipper along one side seam. The second outfit includes a flared houndstooth skirt, a long sleeve jersey turtleneck, and a felt jacket with snaps and exposed darts. Following this is a midi length jersey dress underneath a crisp shirtdress that has a hidden button placket and pleat at the back. The fourth outfit has a long sleeve houndstooth dress with a dropped waist and a reversible cape that is made up of felt and houndstooth fabric. Lastly, a felt coat with topstitching and exposed darts is worn over a cream sleeveless dress. Although the layered pieces are intended for colder weather, many, like the shirtdress, can be worn year-round. Additionally, the garments are designed to transition from day to night with the inclusion of appropriate accessories. The garments are constructed out of both natural fibers and synthetic fibers. The neutral grey-toned palette is flattering for any skin color, loved by Torontonians, easy to incorporate into any wardrobe and ensures the longevity of the style.
