Description of Capstone Project
How do we consume music? Have evolving distribution technologies oversaturated the industry? Are millennials searching for authenticity? What does this mean for artists? Inspired by the resurgence of vinyl, I plan to create a documentary exploring various aspects of how people view and experience music and how they navigate the oversaturation of the industry. Along with the documentary, I will create the visual elements and touchpoints involved in the making of vinyls: the jacket, and inserts to tap into the tangibility of music.
