Dissection of The Mental Realm
Description of Capstone Project
How can the human imagination be defined when the act of conceptualization is an ineffable process pertaining to the human mind? With working to answer this question I am investigating the differences of the human imagination with regard to creativity, to develop supportive theory in proving the dissimilarity of it. Through analyzing this intangible mental construction of inventive thought, I plan to execute my creative capstone project in a method that will allow one to physically enter inside this assembled mental realm at a tangible form. The execution will be an interactive installation showcasing photographic and illustrative pieces. I will be contrasting truth subjects with manipulated corresponding pieces to represent the act of imagining and its cultivated, fragmented process.
