About the Collection
Heorth is a contemporary menswear collection by Kristian Nielsen for fall/winter 2016-2017. The capstone title heorth is the old English word for hearth and is defined as a brazier and a home. However, for this collection, heorth, represents home and feelings of comfort, warmth, relaxation and familiarity. This collection embodies the familial feelings of being home by combining bulky and textured knits as well as heavier weight woven fabrics to establish predisposed notions of “comfy & cozy.”
